Keyya Kayya Bazaar (Vol 6)

Hi all!!

Here's your chance to do charity while you enjoy Kookies ETC... baking items. Kookies ETC will be open on Sunday, 21st October 2012 from 12pm to 7pm at Rasta TTDI.

On that day, as usual, there will be macarons, meringue cornflake... and MAYBE macaroni bakar too! A percentage of the proceed will be going to Teach For The Needs ("TFTN") and Youth of Hope Malaysia ("YOH"). Let's face it, I was very much smitten with their ability to take the time for the children, I've decided to join the band-wagon. Perhaps, on a permanent basis too. Insya-Allah.

Anyways, please do come... Sunday, 21st October 2012, 12 - 7pm. Help Kookies, ETC... raise funds for the children. Hope to see you there!

Kookies ETC had taken some time off from routine selling on weekends and had participated in this event. It was quite a success. Although, the collection for the duration of four hours did not bring the targeted result, I certainly had fun mingling and learning more about the orphanage.

We were very fortunate that the orphanage kids had came down on Sunday, 14th October, 2012. They had performed for us, kept us entertained and to which some of us were reminded why we had done this in the first place. The kids had also played musical chair, which the adults got so excited.

For this event, I was thankful that I had my mum and sister coming down to visit us. It was truly a happy and joyous moment.

Then later, I had met up with friends at the event that made the whole event a lot sweeter.

I am glad to have participated. It was somewhat of a reminder. Insya-Allah, if there's more, I'd join.
